easter festivities

We had a very laid back holiday this year; just us, not much fuss... it was really nice.

Church, of course, in the morning; amazing worship celebration and a great time visiting after with friends, seeing a friend's brand new little one and having others dote on ours is always fun. :)
We indulged in donuts and fruit and yogurt for lunch after.
Easter egg hunting for the kids after that.
Then our annual family picture time (just as in 2011, 2010, 2009, and 2008)
followed by a yummy ham dinner and games together as a family. (Scattergories Categories anyone?!)

And of course pictures, pictures, pictures...

Bright and early jellybean-trail-following and Easter basket inventory...
(SJ has entered into a grumpy and scowly when I wake up phase, so only pictures of the boy this morning!)

And then a Two Kid and A Dog egg hunt later on in the beautiful sunshine...
(yes, our lawn is overdue for a trim.  all the better to hide eggs in, right?!)
