It's a good thing I don't get fooled much because Ive realized today that I'm too gullible for it to be any fun. Seriously, it's embarrassing.
I was sick Monday and Tuesday and although the tummy's better, I was feeling really
The living in sweats didn't leave me much motivation for April Fool's Day funnies this year. I think I used up all my creative ideas last year.
Today with absolutely no forethought, I simply resorted to the good old standby... jello in a juice glass.
The kids and Ryan have a favorite juice that we don't buy often. So I told the kids I had a treat for them and I pulled some cups full of their yummy red "juice" out of the fridge. Complete with straws.
<----- I know it's kinda mean, but look how excited Sawyer is in this pic to be getting to his cup of red juice.
Totally fell for it.
Savannah cracked up, Sawyer was peeved.
Actually, I don't think Sawyer had ever had jello, so he was quite confused at first. He got over it and finally agreed it was pretty silly.
And still yummy.
We saved a nice tall glass for Ryan to come home to after soccer tonight too...
and just because these were in my fridge too...
when's the last time you saw these adorable classic green berry baskets??
I thought these were long retired for the plastic lidded ones you get all the time now, but this is what our berries came in from the produce co-op today.
They make me smile :)
Happy April!
