I'll get to our Oregon trip soon enough, but last things first, we were followed home from Oregon by Ryan's parents and they've been here for the past week. They came to visit to help out with a couple of dates we needed babysitters for, including an out of town wedding that graciously allowed Ryan and I a couple of nights away. So, so nice to have family here to help out for a short time!
We all had fun fitting in lots of summertime stuff with Grandma and Grandpa...
lots of time at the pool of course,
some [really warm] park picnics,
a day at the lake,
and lots and lots of game playing and just hanging out.
I think our visitors fell a little bit in love with our furry family member as well...
(btw, this fence is where this little puppy of ours is almost permanently parked as her bff lives on the other side of it!)
We said our goodbyes yesterday...
Thanks for being here and helping out so much guys... we loved having you here as part of our summer!!

Thanks so much for having us! We loved being with you all, getting to spend a lot of time with the kids, hanging out at the pool, lake, playing games, and having the tick adventure -- ha! And, yes, we love your new family member, Clementine -- she is a sweet dog!
