more of us at the beach

So here are a few more (and the last) of my favorites from our trip to South Haven.
Just random ones of the kids, some whole family attempts, and also Ryan trying his hand at some shots...

























































































This one I did a little playing with...
trying to make a cool picture out of kind of a boring shot.

And our feeble attempt at a family photo session at the beach sans a real photographer or even a real tripod:



















One of many downsides to propping your camera and using a timer, is that you can't really get candid shots. There's not really any faking "candid" when you have to run from behind the camera and pose! So here we just have more boring posed family sittings...















unless by candid you mean father eating son...


















































Bye bye beach...
can't wait to return next year!

oh - it really looks like a blast @ the beach! love the close up of the kids. oh, and family photos are good no matter what (posed or candid). i'm seriously slacking in having any updated ones right now!

OOoh I love that first picture! I wish we were going near a lighthouse this weekend. I'm going to attempt some family shots this weekend too-- haha wish me luck. PFFT! Its sure to be a trainwreck.
