- Does the wind ever stop around here? Seriously, our whole house sounds like it's going to blow over any second. In Oregon when the wind blows, all you hear is the wind rustling through the trees. It's mostly calming and soothing. Here I hear the constant of what sounds like angry wind howling against the side of our house non-stop with the occasional blowing on a pop bottle sound from a gust over the top of our chimney.
- Still can't decide on bedroom paint color. We had our color picked out and then we went and fell in love with bedding that is the exact color. So now we have a beautiful blue bed and it'd be too much to have beautiful blue walls. Ryan doesn't want tan, I don't want grey, we both aren't loving a butter yellow or a green (taken from our throw pillows)... so we're kind of stuck. I'll probably post pictures and ask for opinions later.
- I'm sick of eating. Food just doesn't ever sound good to me anymore. I get hungry, but nothing sounds good. I'm not in the mood for cooking or eating (not that you can tell by looking at the scale I step on) and that combined with my picky preschooler's and finicky toddler's eating habits, I just want to forget about food. I wish we didn't have to eat to survive.
- I'm starting a new book today (The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold) I'm excited about, so watch for the next giveaway soon!
- I'm still in love with my vacuum.
- I'm really excited about our "blog world" Chicago trip in March. Kasey and I are going up a day early and hitting the big yellow and blue. Super excited about introducing a friend to the wonderful world of Ikea! And of course then spending a couple of nights in a cool apartment and exploring Chi-Town with six other fun women some of whom I'm looking forward to meeting for the first time.

random thoughts for blogging have been building up so I need to just spill them out, many to probably be expounded later...

lovely bones is excellent!
I'm right there with you on the eating thing. I feel the EXACT same way!!! And usually I LOVE to it and something always sounds good. I think we have the kids to blame for this :) I love our vacuum too... I just need to use it more!
Dan is reading a book that was highly recommended by our pastor and now EVERYONE is reading it, it seems like... you might want to try it, it's a hard one to find, because it is usually out of stock. The name of it is The Shack by William P. Young. I get to read it after Dan, so I don't really know anything about it yet, except I haven't met a person yet that didn't like it.
