here's what our morning consisted of...
We let the kids have the run of the house (they were actually playing together very well) and Ryan and I spent most of the morning not getting out of bed. We took turns getting up to check on them or to feed them, but we mostly layed around trying to pretend we didn't have two kids preventing us from sleeping in, or at least being lazy in bed every weekend. Somehow the tv ended up on the Oxygen channel and we got sucked into hours of watching a Tori and Dean, Inn Love marathon. How sad is that? I really don't even like Tori Spelling. It was the epitome of the no-brain lazy morning.
We finally both got out of bed and had breakfast for lunch, and then what was next on the agenda? Nap time. Everyone went back to bed, and I slept for three hours... and I felt like I still could have slept forever when I finally made myself get up after three o'clock in the afternoon.
This afternoon, Savannah's neighborhood friends came over to play. They all missed each other and had a great time today.
Back to real life tomorrow... Ryan's back to work, Savannah needs to get ready for her first day of preschool on Tuesday (she missed the first three weeks of school being gone), and I need to get back into the routine of the house and the meals and the kids and the groceries and such. Fun fun.

Kind of quiet around "blogland" this weekend. I feel so out of the loop since I've been gone and haven't had time for the usual writing and reading and commenting. I'm trying to make the rounds now and make sure I'm caught up on everyone.
