just beachy

We spent the day at the beach yesterday. That's the real beach, mind you, as in the ocean. Not the lake as you Michiganders refer to the beach. I'm talking real salt water sandy ocean beaches on the coastline.
*sigh* I do so miss the beach here.
We had a perfect day. It was on the cool side weatherwise, only the mid-sixties, but it was hardly windy and it really was perfect jeans and longsleeves weather. We ran around barefoot and the kids had a blast digging and running and playing around. We went over with Ryan's mom and stepdad... and the dog. Not much else to say... lots of fun, lots of saltwater taffy, a great lunch at a nice little beach cafe, a walk on the boardwalk, sandy toes and pooped out napping kids all the way home.
Here are some of the pics... sorry to overwhelm you, but I had a million and this is just the tip of the iceburg. It was perfectly overcast weather for pictures at the beach. I wish I would have planned for a little family photo shoot there!!
