lots to look forward to...

I'm excited that there are only 7 more days of school left.  I'm ready to be done packing lunches and getting kids off in the morning.  I'm ready to sleep in a little and not have to be up and productive before 7am.

I'm excited for the last couple of the kids' ball games... I have LOVED watching them play this year; loved watching Sawyer enjoy being so good at something he loves, loved getting to know other moms on the team, loved that Savannah stuck with it and is getting better and better and actually enjoys playing and is proud of herself.  But I'm ready to be done with practices and four games a week and having to keep track of a schedule and washing softball and baseball uniforms.

I'm excited for this weekend... I'm so looking forward to seeing friends, looking forward to them getting to enjoy our sweet Miya girl, looking forward to celebrating two of our favorite boys, looking forward to lots of dear hugs, familiar faces and our old stomping grounds for a bit.

I'm excited for our trip home in less than two weeks... excited to see the kids with their cousins, to see faces we miss, to celebrate new babies and new marriages and to just check out of our routine, everyday life around here for a bit and be on "vacation".  I'm excited for family and friends and the kids my kids miss growing up with, for Burgerville and Gartner's ribs and Mt Hood and the beach.  Even though it'll be a crazy, not-stop, packed whirlwind of a trip, it'll be good.  I'm excited to be "home".

I'm excited for the few days away Ryan and I are claiming in the midst of that trip... as luck would have it, my little sister's wedding day is just a week after our ten year anniversary and since we'll be in that neck of the woods for our special day, we decided to revisit our honeymoon spot and take a few days for ourselves.  Sooo looking forward to that; sleeping in, not getting up with a baby, not refereeing the two big kids, lounging around, sightseeing, hiking, whalewatching, soaking in the hot tub, and relaxing, relaxing, relaxing.  That'll be our real vacation. :)

I'm excited for our June date night coming up right after we get home... we always love, love, love getting the opportunity to see a Cirque du Soleil show and I'm super excited about seeing this one.

I'm excited to take another little road trip with my favorite guy for our dear friends' wedding in June as well... another little weekend away and a beautiful wedding to celebrate-- yay!!

Lots to look forward to in the next month!!
