But someone turned nine.
NINE.
You guys.
That is not a little kid anymore. Not even a little bit.
I miss my little kid.
But I guess she's pretty cool for a nine year old. ;)
We had a beyond busy day. Weekend, really.
Between three baseball/softball games, grocery shopping, housecleaning, baking four batches of cupcakes and another cake, and party prepping, I was pooped. And that's not even getting to Sunday (the big day!) yet.
Sunday Savannah opened presents from us first thing in the morning, sans cake, candles and singing. Ryan and I were working in the nursery at church so we had to be there early. And then, of course, were one of the last to leave. We grabbed a quick lunch (SJ picked Sonic again!) and headed home to finish up stuff for the party.
Party from 2-4, fabulous time!
Quick peek, more to come later of course...
After party, we met the Daniels family out for dinner, SJ's pick again, at The Aquarium. Which was busy and took for. ev. er.
We didn't leave the restaurant until after 8pm and we still hadn't done cake/ice cream/other family presents/family celebration! J & K next door joined us for cake and presents when we got home, and needless to say, we all had a rather late bedtime.
But it was a good day.
A very good day.
