I'm boycotting going thru my pictures again. So let's talk about trips.
When's the last time you got away... either on your own, with the girls or with your husband? Where did you go, what did you do, did it rejuvenate you?
I'm hoping for a little of that this weekend.

Speaking of away- did you see the John Krasinski movie, Away We Go? We watched it last week and I loved it! We laughed, I actually cried... and "Strollers?! I love my babies... why would I want to PUSH them away from me?" HA!

OH I was just saying today I wish I could run away from home. That or send my kids away LOL!
The last time I was away, sans kids, was this spring. Went to Chicago with the girls. Shopped. And hell yeah it rejuvenated! LOL! I need more weekend trips without the kids. Definitely.
No, haven't seen the movie... never heard of it either. I'll have to add it to my Netflix queue.
Best. Movie. Ever. I loved that movie. I recommend it to all my friends. The opening scene was strange but I'm over it.

i'm getting away tomorrow! it's for a baby shower for my SIL, but still...i'm leaving for 24 hours without kids or husband. life is good.
I NEVER GET AWAY! Well, hardly ever. The last time I got away was when John and I went on a date a few weekends ago. WE went out to a fun, posh restuarant (so not us, but fun anyhow), and then to the cupcake shop where we played Scrabble, shared a cupcake and drank coffee. It was one of the nicest dates we remember having in a long time.
B and I went away a few months ago. It was a last minute trip that I thought was going to be soooo awesome but I ended up missing my baby so much. I think it would have been a lot better if we had planned it out better.
