week end

I'm just checking in to say that we didn't float away this week; my parents arrived on Wednesday and I've been not feeling great (yucky stomach) the last couple of days and the kids both seem to be coming down with colds (I know, great timing), so I haven't been feeling very bloggy. I skipped out on any Thoughts this Thursday, but here are some Friday questions for you...

What is your favorite time of day, what is your favorite day of the week, and tell me three things you have planned to do this weekend.

I like late at night... or anytime of night/evening after the kids are in bed and it's just me and Ryan hanging out, or if we have friends over in the evenings and the kids are all asleep upstairs and we are just sitting around having a drink or playing a game or just talking in peace without the little ones running circles around us.

I don't know if I can pinpoint a favorite day... my first instinct is to say Saturday or Sunday having Ryan would be home all day with us, but I'm kind of odd and I really kind of like the routine of weekdays. When Ryan's home we just kind of throw routine out the window and do whatever whenever and the house gets trashed and we do a lot of fun stuff or running around, and I like being together as a family, but I also sometimes like the comfort of our weekday schedule and it's predictability. And it's not like anybody ever sleeps in on weekends around here...

Ryan and I are going out of town this weekend!!! And seeing friends!! And also I'm going to paint my nails! LOL Sad, but that too is exciting to me...
