I am honestly still shocked that Tara chose one of my pics; totally made my day! My week actually. I know I'm probably not anywhere near the top of the running, but I must say that I am truly overwhelmed at the number of votes my photo does have... (many more than the just friends and family I instructed to get their butts over there to vote!! haha!). I looked through the comments over there a few times and every time I saw a vote for #8 without a name that I could recognize or trace back to my blogging, I just wanted to give them a big cyber hug and kiss and say I love you I love you I love you!!! Even though I don't know you. haha!
It's an amazing feeling to see my just-a-regular-person-with-a-camera shot, with probably all wrong processing and whatnot, lined up there with all these gorgeous professional images. Makes a girl feel good! I'm so glad I captured this moment and I'm glad that it makes other people smile as well. Thanks for letting me share it for a brief moment. And for boosting my confidence a bit! :)

I emailed it out to have people vote! I had 10 teachers vote, 5 friends from college vote, and 2 aunts voted! I hope yours wins! It's the best! I'm so glad she picked yours for the finals. :)
