speaking of surprise....

SURPRISE!!!

Lot's of nothing going on this weekend... just recooping from the planning and partying and hanging out with friends. The Barczaks are here (Ryan for the weekend, Nic and Porter through the week) and the Laughlins are camping out here with us for the weekend as well.
I am absolutely drained today from the week. I'll be back soon for more of a recap of the party (he was completely surprised!) and the rest of our goings-ons this weekend.
Happy weekend everyone!

You'll have to give us the details of how you pulled it off. Any close calls??

Oh, you did it! I've been thinking of your blog on surprises. I am so not like you on that. Gifts and surprises don't occur to me, and I'm truly grateful that they do to people like you. I like to be surprised.

I have always thought you were a very thoughtful gift-giver. My sister is like that too. It doesn't matter what her taste is, she always gives based on the receiver's tastes. I have another sister that is different. She tries to give you the things that she thinks are great, or the things she thinks you should be using. Still nice to receive gifts, but you can really tell when someone has been thoughful about what you would really like to have or what you'd consider to be a treat.

I'm happy for Ryan to have married you.
