happy friday

^ If I say it enough it'll be true right?? ^

Blah.  I'm just blah today.
It's been a long week and I am just feeling really wiped out.  Emotionally and physically.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I spent about an hour and a half on the phone yesterday.  That was just with two people.
That's more than I'm usually on the phone in like six months time.  Or more. Seriously.
As Ryan likes to tease me, maybe it really did steal my soul and that's why I'm so blah today.

Or maybe it's the fact that I'm eating a Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie cookie for breakfast.
Or that I (obviously, given the fact above) am an desperate need of a grocery run, but I so do not want to go today with two babies to drag along.

Or maybe it's that we had a rough morning with the little girl around here.
Or that after debating with the boy about his lunchbox placement on his way out the door (he's suddenly, this week, adamant that he carry his lunchbox in hand when he has a perfectly perfect easy access exactly lunchbox sized front buckle spot on his backpack)(I keep telling him he's going to lose his lunch)(he keeps saying he won't), I watched the kids march onto the bus down the street today and as the bus pulls away I noticed a lone lunchbox standing by the curb.
Or that Miya's got a wicked cold and it's no fun seeing a happy baby so miserable.
Or maybe that Remy was crawling along just now and did a random faceplant into the hardwoods (he tends to do that a lot... he "trips" when he's crawling or he'll just be sitting minding his own business, and the next thing I know, I hear a thump and his head's on the ground and he's crying). But this time he busted open his top lip, bleeding all over me.  And then fought me to get it cleaned up and iced. And we have a lunch date with his mom in two hours. It'll be lovely by then.

Blah.

You know what might cheer everybody me up?
I realized the other day that while I can't post photos of the faces (for privacy sake) of our foster kids, Miya isn't technically our foster child anymore and would actually be considered a friend... a one-of-the-family type friends.  And seeing as how her guardian has mentioned wanting to get her into modeling, I thought hmmm... she probably wouldn't mind if I asked her if it was okay to post pictures of her, like I do my own kids, for friends and family to see on facebook or on my own personal blog.  You know, like any of our other friends we take pictures of. :)
And she said that was a-okay.
So here you go... here's the beautiful face finally out from behind the purple butterfly...
our little Miya bug:

Happy Friday y'all!
