Okay, so Halloween pictures were pre-empted...
a certain birthday cake has gotten the best of me this evening. Has beaten me, actually.
Remember when I loved fondant? So much fun to do fancy cakes... such an enjoyable challenge?
Um, yeah. I'm never doing one again.
Oh well, it's not a true homemade birthday cake until you're reduced to tears, right?
Oh wait- maybe that's just me.
Anywho... I'm delirious and exhausted and there's only 23 minutes left on this first day of November and I made it. Sure I'm only writing about not writing -and the cake! the ridiculous cake!- but I'm not giving up that easily. You'll have to throw more than a disaster of a cake at me for that!

my halloween pictures didn't make it up either. better get that done today or they already seem 'old'. haha! sorry about the cake!
I am totally the same way with homemade birthday cakes - cry every time because I can never get them perfect. :(
I was making my cake on Sat night. We had my guys party yesterday. Cakes make me crazy too and mine aren't nearly as creative as yours!
