Once upon a time there was a young lady who had a birthday.
This young lady was fortunate enough to spend this particular birthday, the entire day, surrounded by her two children, her husband and a long lost friend who had traveled a long distances to be reunited.
Together, the day was spent playing games and opening presents and shopping and getting a haircut and finding special gifts and buying cute skirts and going out to dinner and drinking chocolate peppermintinis and eating ice cream cake and laughing and loving the same songs and enjoying Christmas lights and at the end of this very full and very beautiful day, this young lady sat back and thought to herself,
I do believe I've just experienced the best birthday day ever.
And she went to bed happy... knowing that sharing that day together was well worth turning a year older (even though she was still young).
