yum

I just love days like this. It was still 60 degrees when I woke this morning at 6am. It's supposed to be a perfect 80 degrees this afternoon (yum!) and this kind of weather just makes me feel so good and full of energy. And that sunshiney motivation is something I need for today!
Here's my to-do list for the day...
  • 5 loads of laundry washed dried and put away
  • clean bathroom
  • possible quick run to the grocery store
  • bake banana bread and the cookies for fruit pizzas to take to bible study tomorrow morning (yum!)
  • spend most of the day outside with the kids, while also pulling weeds, trimming bushes and planting before we get a couple of stormy days
  • clean house for new babysitter tonight
  • decide once and for all if I can pull off getting organized for garage sale this weekend or not!

I'm thinking if I can get my laundry started, clean up the house this morning, and then spend the majority of the day outside with the kids then the house will stay clean all day! Then I can fold laundry and bake during naptime, leaving the rest of the afternoon relatively free to enjoy the rest of the sunshine fun and stress free 'till Ryan comes home from work, the babysitter arrives, and the two of us enjoy a nice evening stroll down to our pastor's house (they only live a few blocks from us) for a dessert night (and... yum!) .

Alright... I'm off to open up the house, enjoy the sunshine and get moving.
Happy Hump Day!

You clean for the babysitter? Huh. That's an interesting thought. Maybe that's why they all run away. ;-0

Am I missing something... What does Happy Hump Day mean? Yesterday was Earth Day, but I've never heard of Hump Day! :)

hump day is wednesday, the middle of the week. once you get over the hump it is all downhill from there.

Oh! Thanks Ryan. Never heard of that before...Maybe us "Hoosiers" are a little behind in our terminology. :)
