I probably could have pushed them (and myself) and they would have been fine... but SJ's had a sore throat for a couple of days and both kids have headaches and Sawyer has the puffy, glaze-y fever eyes (but no fever) (yet).
The fact that it's an unusually cold, rainy (downpour-y), gray Monday morning may or may not have influenced the stay home decision.
It just seems a perfect day to be curled up on the couch with comfy blankets, sipping on warm cider,
