I say pop, by the way. And I'm from Oregon. And while it seems it's kind of split evenly here where I live now (St Louis, MO area), most of our close friends poke fun when we refer to it as pop. "what, you mean soda?"
I grew up in (northern) Minnesota, and grew up saying 'pop.' My husband, who grew up in the teeming metropolis of Minneapolis, Minnesota also grew up saying 'pop', but since he's done a lot of traveling for work and has had colleagues from all over the U.S., he's decided that saying 'pop' is super uncool, and has switched to 'soda.' So now, sometimes I catch myself using 'soda' too. But I still probably call it 'pop' more often. (Sorry, that was probably too long of a comment for one little question!)
